Welcome. Tsinghua-ChinaCache Content Delivery Network Research Institute is the Joint Lab built up by Tsinghua University (Research Institute of Information and Technology) and Beijing Blue I.T. Technologies Co., Ltd.(ChinaCache) in 2008. The Lab aims to lead a profound research in CDN area, with a combined advantage of mature research platform / team resources of Tsinghua, and financial support / practical network environment from ChinaCache. Our principle is achieving a rewarding academic excellence and meanwhile a successful commercial output. At this period, there are 4 researching aspects which the Lab is now focusing on: Network Technology, Multi-media Communication Technology, P2P Technology as well as Digital Rights Management (DRM).

We will take on Joint Research on the Project of “Platform, Basic Theory and Key Technology’s Research of New Generation Content Delivery Network”. In 3 years, we plan to build our Content Delivery Network Research Institute to be a sustainable development and high-leveled research institute in the field of Computer Network, which could be famous in China and also well-known internationally. We will not only make our contributions to the enterprise’s innovation of technology, but also turn out some first-rate scholars and graduate students. Beside these, we will publish more than 30 high standard Papers, and apply more than 10 Patents’ registration as well.
